Viitorul prosper al lumii in care traiesc

In 2040, I would imagine a future where technology, nature and society are in balance, and people live more connected to each other and to the planet. Here are some ideas about how I would like the world to look like:

1. A sustainable world
Cities should be green and self-sufficient, with buildings covered by plants and powered exclusively by renewable energy sources – solar, wind, geothermal.
Households should be equipped with smart technologies for recycling and reducing waste.
Transport should be fully electrified and autonomous, without emissions, and people should use bicycles more often or walk through airy and clean urban spaces.
2. Advanced and accessible education for all
Education should be globalized and personalized, giving each individual the chance to learn at their own pace, with the help of artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
Traditional classes are complemented by practical experiences in simulated environments, such as virtual labs or educational trips to other planets, through VR.
All children in the world should have access to quality education, regardless of their social or economic background.
3. Extraordinary advances in medicine
Incurable diseases of the past to be history, thanks to advanced genetic therapies and organs grown in the laboratory.
People can monitor and maintain health with wearable devices that prevent diseases before they manifest.
Longevity should increase and quality of life should be exceptional at any age.
4. Space exploration and new housing
Human colonies already exist on the Moon and Mars, with technologies that allow adaptation to hostile environments and the cultivation of food in space.
Interplanetary travel should be accessible to the general public, making the exploration of the cosmos a natural part of life.
5. Deep human connections
A world where people value authentic relationships and empathy more, and where technology is a means of rapprochement, not isolation.
Society should be guided by values such as inclusion, solidarity and respect for diversity.
6. Art and creativity are universal.
Anyone can create, either through human inspiration or with AI assistants who turn ideas into art, music or literature.
Let art become a universal language, uniting people from all corners of the world and replacing cultural barriers.
7. A regenerated nature
Forests should be larger than ever before and biodiversity should be protected by reforestation and habitat rehabilitation technologies.
People should live in harmony with nature and ecosystems should be restored for future generations.

I think that European life and people in 2040 will be completely different from what they are today. I will in principle be 86 years old, and I believe that if I go out again I will no longer recognise the places I know as they are today. With the immigration of people from communities and religions different from ours, which is growing at a very high rate, it will be necessary to share work and wealth so that everyone lives decently and intelligently. But can I still say that the future of the generations of my children, grandchildren and others anguish me a lot, and that I am not the only one who thinks so?

Utopia is important because it allows us to hope ... Let's imagine! it's spring and the small flowers, violets, pikelets, blueberries, worries..., decorate our gardens without pesticides, without fertilizer because the soil, well worked for years no longer needs all these artificial aids. And children, teenagers run into this garden. They are at peace, they are good because their parents have instilled in them the essential rules of life in society. And the school has trained them by teaching them, not, ready-made formulas that it is enough to know by heart, no, by giving them the opportunity to train in everyday life with the help of the oldest who share their knowledge. And on their plates, at meals, they eat vegetables grown near their homes by responsible farmers. No more ready-made dishes bought in the super markets, almost all of which have disappeared or, at the very least, have changed the way they sell... Utopia!!

Autonom fahren
I would love to be able to drive autonomously. This would be especially important for older people from the country, as there are often no shops and doctors there anymore. So you can participate in life even with physical or mental limitations. In addition, the traffic is unraveling, there are fewer traffic jams, the traffic is more fluid and there are fewer accidents.

I want a united Europe, not wars or wars. The gap between rich and poor should be very close. There would have to be enough living space, whether for rent or property. Politicians should not only look four years into the future and block everything beforehand. More attention should be paid to the environment, renewable energies, stable prices. Enough doctors and hospitals.
