In a good future, I would like to see sick people treated with respect and empathy. That sick people are not forced into everything (work trials) and that it should not take several years for this target group to get through the system. That it becomes easier to get the psychiatric help you need, and that the help is ongoing if this is what you need. More hands at the hospitals so that people aren't rounded up and have to wait for ages for appointments. That more schools are built so that our children and young people don't have to fight for attention and possibly be overlooked. That Dentist comes in over taxes, so everyone can get the help they need. That all salaries etc. increase so that it feels with the rising prices or vice versa that prices fall... I want a world where no one should feel left out because of status and wealth.

I would be 82 years old in 2040. If I were still in this world then, my oldest two grandchildren would be 26, my middle granddaughter 22 and the youngest two 20 years old. My wish for my children, children-in-law and grandchildren is that the climate situation improves. I hope that common sense will finally prevail. Maybe then there will be a world without war? I imagine that there will only be self-driving cars. There are no more internal combustion engines. The public transport network is well developed. The research work is sensational, new technologies and achievements are constantly being developed for a climate-friendly world. That would be my vision for the future. I can't imagine anything else. I'm worried about my family and also about the whole of humanity and the animal world. More war, crop failures, water shortages, a collapse in health care...... If a miracle doesn't happen and a change in thinking finally takes place, we face a terrible future.

A zeroing of political offices, with the cancellation of all privileges gained through falsehood and corruption. A new political class that wants the good of the sovereign people. The birth of new generations unsuitable for evil and malfeasance. Generations that help each other, that extend through knowledge, through culture. Generations with the same rights and the same duties, respectful of the rules, which must not be imposed, but must be part of everyday life. No sister-in-law to the other, but a true equality of views and thought. Health care at the service of all, without prejudice and without profit on the lives of the poor. A new world... if we ever manage to keep it intact, which is very difficult.

One of the biggest disappointments in Ireland for many years was the lack of a proper connection by Rail to Dublin Airport. Finally after many failed attempts, it is great to see a highly effective and efficient service up and running. For tourists coming into the capital city, they can now be in the city thanks to the new rail connection in a short space of time, which can also only be good for Tourism.
